The 11th Bureau of Hydropower signed a contract with the final construction project of the Ituango HPP in Colombia
Recently, the 11th Bureau of Hydropower formed a joint venture with own brand Yellow River and a local company in Colombia, and formally signed a contract for the completion of the Ituango Hydropower Station with Colombia's Medellin Electric Power Company.
Ituango Hydropower Station is located in the Cauca River Basin in Antioquia Province, Colombia, with a total installed capacity of 2,400 MW. The construction contract mainly includes the concrete lining of the lower and upper pipelines of the hydropower station, primary
and secondary concrete construction of the generating unit, and various infrastructure concrete projects in the ground area.
Ituango Hydropower Station is currently the largest installed hydropower station under construction in the Americas. After the project is completed, it will meet about 12% of Colombia's electricity demand. The successful signing of this project fully reflects the project
